In this tour, we’ll explore different historical buildings along one of the oldest main road in Hong Kong. Meet your guide in front of Blue house and the tour will begin as follows: 1) The Blue House We’ll visit the Grade 1 historical building in Hong Kong. You’ll take a look at the building’s architecture, the antiques donated by residents, learn about the history of the area and how it evolved into the current community. 2) 18 Ship Street We’ll visit this Grade 2 historical building. Have you thought of how the local lived and ran their business in this well-preserved tenement house in the 60s? Want to have a glimpse of how it looked like before? The descendant of the architect and ex-owner will unveil it for you. 3) Wo Cheong Pawn Shop It is a grade 2 listed heritage with the Pawn shop on the ground floor and the whole tenement building for appreciation. We'll find out more about the local business in appreciating this listed heritage. 4) Lockhart Road Can you make a wild guess how many bars there are along this road? Why is it so popular?
